Ride for Jarvis, Ride for Toronto

Join us tomorrow evening, Wednesday, July 20, at 6:30 p.m. at Allan Gardens for a protest ride down Jarvis St.

The Toronto Cyclists Union has organized a Ride for Jarvis, which is a critical mass type demonstration for tomorrow evening to show our disappointment with last week's decision by city council to remove bike lanes on Jarvis St., Birchmount Rd., and Pharmacy Ave.

While we all hope that the proposed network of separated lanes will become a reality, it is never a good sign when bike lanes are removed.

So come on out and show your support and solidarity for cycling in Toronto.
